METAMORPHOSIS
Galatians 5:17
For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
The man was in this standstill. Unable to recognize himself anymore. The constant battle between the flesh and the Holy Spirit started to overwhelm him. It felt like it wasn’t going to end and the flesh was winning. Little did he know God was going to break him and all of it was going to be silenced……
Revelations 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
The man has now hit a breaking point. He is trying to cover the tears and pain he’s been experiencing for some time. While he wipes the tears away the pride begins to creep its way back in. The pride begins to say YOU got this, YOU can break through this wall, YOU have this!! During this moment, he hears

LOOK TO ME….
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?
As the man opens his eyes and looks to God he sees the light. He tells God, “Show me what I fear the most. Help me face what terrifies me. What keeps me up at night I trust you to handle. I surrender my life to you”
Ephesians 6:13
Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
The man now stands firm on the path God has set before him. He has been shaped and sharpened by the Holy Spirit and and the word of God. There is darkness around him but it does not consume him.
The man doesn’t know where the path is taking him but he understands that God has a plan! He now knows to walk with faith and not sight. He knows the path will appear as he walks with faith and not by sight!
